    I was in DC for awhile before coming back for the end of SXSW.  My opinion of the place (DC) improved this trip, I’m not crazy about it but I feel like it could be a tolerable place to live.  The U Street area seems like it might have potential, it’s also very easy to get anywhere… I’m open to the idea of living there someday.

    Austin is still the king.  SXSW has gotten even bigger.

    I wonder what the CDC thinks about these sorts of festivals as geographic vectors for STI’s, seems like something like SxSW has a lot of potential in that regard.  Coming together and then dispersing in the global village.
